About the Role

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about hiring the best people, who are keen to make a difference and help us lead the cultural shift in construction and the built environment.  

Our teams are growing at the CIOB, and we’re looking for someone who can come in and join our HR team to manage a busy and exciting recruitment workload, and to streamline and improve our hiring processes.   

From member facing roles and colleagues who will be driving forward our policy agenda through to a range of critical head office functions; you’ll be recruiting into a truly diverse range of roles across the globe, helping us to find the right people to join us as we strive to improve quality of life for those using and creating the built environment.

You’ll have ownership of our recruitment activity from start to finish – from defining roles through to sourcing, interviewing and onboarding you’ll be at the heart of hiring great people; whilst helping us to make sure that our recruitment activities and our employer brand are the best they can be. 

About You

You’ll bring demonstrable experience of in-house recruitment activity, from supporting hiring managers to define roles through to attraction and selection of candidates, offer management and onboarding.  If that experience includes recruiting internationally, all the better! 

You’ll have experience of direct sourcing, including the use of LinkedIn, and you’ll be keen to help us build our employer brand here at the CIOB.  You’ll also be familiar with recruitment software such as Applicant Tracking Systems, with a desire to use technology to make recruitment processes the best they can be. 

With excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a busy and varied workload, you’ll be keen to get stuck in and make the role your own; building strong and collaborative relationships with hiring managers, candidates and stakeholders alike to deliver excellence throughout the recruitment cycle.
