Introducing the CIOB Tomorrow’s Leaders Community

Would you like the opportunity to nurture emerging talent? To support you with this, we are delighted to introduce to you the CIOB Tomorrow’s Leaders Community.

Aimed at those in the early stages of their construction career Tomorrow’s Leaders is a global community, with self-development an integral part, designed to support CIOB members who would like to untap their leadership potential. Our founding members, many of whom came from our previous Novus network, have worked with us to shape and design this new community.

Our student members of the CIOB who are automatically opted into this community along with those sitting in other membership grades who choose to join, will gain access to a platform full of emerging talent. Through this platform their influence within the CIOB can grow, supported with tailored learning and opportunity to build a powerful network. Our Tomorrow’s Leaders will be kept up to date through their monthly newsletter, providing news, opportunities, CPD and more. There are also a range of events taking place, both face to face and virtually, across the globe which members can tap into, with some specifically aimed at Tomorrow’s Leaders. For those looking to play a more active role in the community, the opportunity to become a Tomorrow’s Leaders Champion is now available too.

Our Tomorrow’s Leaders Champions across the globe are already leading the way, delivering activity aimed at the Tomorrow’s Leaders audience and playing a vital role in inspiring the next generation, whilst at the same time progressing in their own personal and professional development. As a Tomorrow’s Leaders Champion, individuals automatically become part of the Tomorrow’s Leaders Community.

This is an exciting time for us as we grow this community and we would be appreciative of your support in sharing the benefits and opportunities available through this community with your students and colleagues. Further details including how to apply for CIOB membership, how to opt into the community for those who are not a student member and are sitting in all other CIOB grades of membership, as well as how to express an interest in a Tomorrow’s Leaders Champion role can be found on our website.

Being able to welcome members into the community is an exciting step forward but development of the community does not stop there. Over the coming months we will be working to enhance the offering for this audience, with the development and introduction of new products and services. Those who join early will be the first to benefit from these and will support us in shaping future propositions.
