Summary

Accepting and sharing a digital badge is the first step toward unlocking the career enhancing opportunities offered by Credly. 

Let's start with how to accept your badge. You will receive an email from [email protected] notifying you of your new badge. You might want to add this email as a trusted sender so it doesn't go to spam. Click the Accept Your Badge button. 

If this is your first badge, you will be guided through the necessary steps to create an account. Enter your first name, last name, your country and a password. You can also use our Single Sign On options. Decide if you want to be connected to other opportunities, and agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. 

If you already have an account, sign in with your account to claim your badge. You will be brought to a page where you can accept it immediately. You have choices. We recommend you allow the badge to be displayed publicly so others can see your achievement. 

Decide if you would like badges from the same organisation to automatically go into your account. If you're working toward multiple credentials, this will serve you well. 

Once your badge is in your account, you can explore the other options to share it with others and put it to work for you. We have additional videos in our support area should you need help. 

Now, let's review the difference between what you see on your dashboard versus what others see publicly. When you log in, you're brought to a personalised page that shows your latest credential along with some additional information. 

If you want to see all of your credentials, navigate to badges. This allows you to revisit each credential individually. 

As you look at a credential, you might find additional recommendations from the issuer or related opportunities. 

Under settings, you can manage your account by performing important tasks like adding a secondary email or customising your profile. 

The profile link is what outsiders see of your account. Those decisions you made earlier about auto accept and whether others can contact you are controlled from this area as well. 

The more you explore, the more likely you'll discover new opportunities. There you go. Managing your badge through Credly is easy, and it's a quick way to take charge of your digital professional achievements.

Let's first get the assets you need. Log into your account and go to the badge that you would like to share. Then go to download and using the slider bar, decide what size badge you want to share, then download the image. Next, click on the URL icon and copy it to your clipboard. 

Now in Outlook, start a new email message, click signature, and either edit an existing signature or add a new one. 

To add your badge, click the image icon, locate the badge image you downloaded, and insert. 

Next hyperlink the image, paste the badge URL that you copied from Credly, save your new outlook signature, and you're ready to show others what you've achieved the next time you send an email.

Embedding your badge into an email signature is quick and easy. 

Let's first get the assets you need. Log into your account and go to the badge that you would like to share, then go to the download area, and using the slider bar, decide what size badge you want to share, then download the image. Next, click the URL icon and copy it to your clipboard. 

Now in Gmail, find the settings area and scroll to the signature block. Use the picture icon to upload the badge image. You can resize the image. Now, highlight the image and click on the link icon. Paste the URL you copied and save. 

And you're all set. Now, anyone who receives an email with your signature can click on your badge to verify your achievement through Credly.
