    • Verel Rodrigues
    Verel is a Climate Activist and an Environmental Campaigner with a passion for influencing sustainability and driving social change. He has campaigned with several movements such as Extinction Rebellion and Just Stop Oil, to raise awareness on the climate crisis and accelerate the transition to a regenerative future. Verel works as a Sustainability Consultant at Element Four – an environmental consultancy based in London, where he specialises in creating net zero pathways and sustainability strategies for clients in the built environment sector. With an interest in systemic transformation, Verel recognises the role businesses can play in advocating for policy change. Additionally, he is also involved with the Green Party locally in Bristol, campaigning for a fairer and greener economy.

    Explore the challenges of minimising carbon emissions in construction in an innovative and surprising way? In this workshop we delve into the world of sustainable building practices in an immersive session using LEGO bricks. This hand-on workshop will focus on the theme of retrofit in construction in a fun, creative and collaborative style. Using our imaginations and Lego bricks we will discuss and reflect upon the challenges and opportunities of sustainable development in construction.
