Summary

An opportunity to understand what the Building Safety Act means for your organisation, progress to date and an overview of CIOB’s products

The Building Safety Act 2022 has been in operation for two-years and the legislation has had a transformative impact on building and fire safety in the construction industry. (BSA 2022 only applies to England, and parts of it to Wales. It does not cover Scotland or NI, who will develop their own building safety legislation)

Its impact has been far reaching, including the formation of new roles and responsibilities, enforcement through the Building Safety Regulator and enhanced competency requirements.

The issue of building safety is a global issue and as such our members should be aware of these principles and how to apply them in the countries in which they operate.

There is no one-size fits all solution when it comes to Building Safety however this webinar serves as an opportunity to understand what the Building Safety Act means for your organisation, progress to date as well as an overview of CIOB’s products and services aimed at increasing individual and organisational capability in this space.
