Summary
Informative insight into this project under the HS2 programme & try your hand at virtually driving diggers, ADT’s and cranes! The Twyford to Greatworth (T2G) project is a 20km section of the HS2 route being delivered by joint venture Eiffage Kier Ferrovial BAM (EKFB). The T2G section involves the construction of a 20 km mainline, extensive earthworks and various structures including viaducts and over bridges. The project is led by EKFB Project Director, Tony Wehby FCIOB, along with EKFB Deputy Project Director Timothée Scherer, and HS2 Senior Project Manager Elizabeth Longinotti.
The visit will include an insightful talk on the project led by a T2G site engineer focussing on what is being delivered in T2G, specifically from the A422 compound & the incredible opportunity to virtually drive diggers, ADT’s and cranes with equipment from Flannery.
