Summary
Join us for an exclusive insight into one of Scotland’s most innovative education projects – the new Tain 3-18 Campus.Following a statutory consultation process in 2019, it was agreed that Tain Royal Academy, Craighill and Knockbreck Primary Schools, and St Duthus School would be relocated to a single, modern campus located at Craighill in Tain.
This ambitious development was selected as part of Phase 1 of the Scottish Government’s Learning Estate Investment Programme (LEIP) and has been designed to achieve the Passivhaus Standard – a rigorous, energy-efficient design approach delivering exceptional comfort and dramatically reduced carbon emissions.
🛠️ Kier Construction were appointed as design and build contractors, working closely with Highland Council’s in-house Property teams to bring this high-performance educational facility to life. Construction work began on site in September 2022.
