    Mee the panelist
    • Mmashaba Motimela
    Mmashaba Motimela is a certified project management professional, who holds a BSc (Honours) degree in quantity surveying and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in project management at the University of the Witwatersrand. With armory such as her PMP certification, and registration as a candidate construction project manager with SACPCMP, she combines academic insight, and a regulated approach with hands on experience to manage and deliver projects. Her excitement comes from turning ideas into something tangible and she is driven to execute by “leading to build dreams from grounded realities”, be it on projects, in people or in new spaces.

    • Kafui Yawa Honu
    Kafui is an architect dedicated to advancing sustainable design and innovation in the built environment. With expertise in green building techniques such as passive design, modular construction, and renewable materials. Kafui explores solutions that harmonize architecture with ecological systems. Kafui actively engages in innovative research and practical applications of sustainable architecture, focusing on energy efficiency, climate-responsive design, and the role of architecture in achieving the desired outcome. She is passionate about redefining the relationship between built spaces and natural ecosystems, fostering a future where architectural innovation aligns with sustainability.

    • Duduzile Maseko
    Miss Duduzile Maseko is a high performing Construction project Manager @ the Department of Public Works and Infrastructure Cape Town Region, with 7-year record of accomplishment of success in the construction industry. My key role involves overseeing vast/ complex construction project from initiation till close-out, communicate effectively and manage stakeholders performing variety of activities for consultants/ contractors/internal & external stakeholders while assuming both roles of principal consultant and principal agent. I’m particularly proud of obtaining my PR status as Construction Project Manager with SACPCMP and have undertaken approximately 20 projects, which includes construction of new buildings/refurbishments/ repairs/ maintenance/upgrade both green filed and brown field. Respectively, possesses interpersonal skills, assertiveness, emotional Intelligence, pays attention to detail, flexible and able to solve problems

    • Charlotte Anie
    Charlotte Anie is a Professional Quantity Surveyor at Turner & Townsend, working on front-end loading (FEL) projects for Anglo American. She started her career as a bursary/ student intern and has almost 10 years of experience in the Energy and Natural Resources sector. Charlotte specialises in cost planning, budgeting, and strategic project support from early project stages through to execution of mining projects. She is also passionate about mentorship and youth development in the built environment
