Response to DCLG on the consultation on the Housing Standards Review

Summary

CIOB provided a response to the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) Housing standards review: consultation which ran from 20 August 2013 to 22 October 2013.

The CIOB response can be accessed below as well as DCLG’s outcome which was published on 13 March 2014.

Since the consultation process, the government announced on 27 March 2015 a new approach to the setting of technical housing standards in England. This was accompanied by the publication of a new set of streamlined national technical standards.
