Response to the Migration Advisory Committee call for evidence on the economic and social impact of the UK’s exit from the EU

Summary

In July 2017, the government commissioned the Migration Advisory Committee (MAC) to advise on the economic and social impacts of the UK’s exit from the EU and also on how the UK’s immigration system should be aligned with a modern industrial strategy.

The CIOB has made a response, drawing on the evidence from our report into analysis into migration in the construction sector.
