Members of the Chartered Institute of Building are set to converge upon Cambridge to represent the interests of all CIOB members and to plan the future of the Institute.

From 19 July 2015 the CIOB and its members will take part in a four day Forum that will discuss, and investigate, who is leading change within the construction industry from a global perspective.  Amongst the programme the Forum will include discussion about the CIOB's own four year corporate plan and hear the outcomes from last year’s Members Forum in Doha on migrant workers welfare.

A key feature of the week will see the inauguration of Chris Chivers FCIOB as he takes over the CIOB Presidency from Professor Ghassan Aouad FCIOB.

Speaking about the Forum Ghassan Aouad CIOB President said; “Members Forum is an incredibly important part of the CIOB.  It is the place where Members help steer the future of the Institute.  We get to meet each other face to face and tackle the big questions. The Forum is a key element in the Institute’s governance cycle. What is agreed upon in this week often sets in motion activity that culminates in following Forums.”
