About the Role

As part of the Acquisition Team, the Business Development Executive will take a proactive approach to company member acquisition, upgrades and retention as well as promoting the wide CIOB product portfolio through outbound activity. You’ll work closely with the inbound team, delivering an exceptional service and improved customer satisfaction and retention rates, encouraging conversion and members to attain Chartered membership, ultimately delivering on the CIOB Growth Strategy.


About You

With demonstrable business development skills, potentially from a telesales / call centre environment, the successful Business Development Executive will have the ability to confidently question, probe, listen, establish rapport, articulate the CIOB value proposition, identify opportunities and gain commitment. Communicating clearly and concisely both orally and in writing, candidates will be motivated by working towards monthly targets and performance measures, with the ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload, meeting targets and deadlines.
Above all, you will be IT literate, familiar with using word processing, databases, spreadsheets, CRM software, email and web applications and have the ability to work as a remote member of the team, communicating effectively and working in collaboration with a team of Business Development Managers.
