SRC Group have invited CIOB members to visit Martells Quarry in Ardleigh, Colchester. The morning starts with a presentation at the SRC Group offices where you will hear about the company's Circular Economy and Process. You will then be able to visit Martells Quarry, Colchester where you will see:

• Inbound Waste Streams & Processing (Wash Plant)
• Testing & Quality Control of Aggregates
• Outbound Products and Use of Recycled Aggregate in Concrete & Ecoblock

CIOB Members: Gain 3 CPD points when you reflect on the ethical aspects of your learning from this activity.

10.00 Transfer to Martell's Quarry for tour of site

Speaker

Nick Brown, Commercial Manager at SRC Group has been with the company for 15 years, beginning in operations as a machine operator and now working as a commercial manager for the aggregates and waste business.

Full joining instructions will be provided approximately one week before the event.

PPE is mandatory. You will require hi viz, safety hat and safety boots to be able to visit the quarry.
