Summary
Work at height remains one of the most challenging safety issues in construction. The Work at Height Regulations identify a hierarchy-starting with the need to avoid working at height.
All too often the selected solutions that help satisfy these requirements do not work. Those controlling the workplace need to recognise that a solution in one scenario does not necessarily apply to another. Coupled with the widespread reliance upon the supply chain to "manage themselves", there is no such thing as a panacea in Work at Height.
Panacea Blunder can be avoided by recognising the limitations of these solutions and knowing from where this information can be sourced.
We will highlight some of the common misunderstandings that will help the audience to make informed solution choices and enjoy a safer working environment.
Rob Harris from 3 Education, and Rob Lowe from Nationwide Platforms will be offering this insightful and imactful CPD.
A two-course hot buffet will be served prior to the presentations.
